This week, ELA coordinated several joint inspections with participation of authorities from EU Member States. All in all inspections took place in 8 countries. 18 EU Member states participated in the inspections.
The Belgian authorities organised a joint inspection with participation from Bulgarian authorities on Monday with the support of the European Labour Authority in Zeebrugge, Belgium. The inspection was performed under the direction of the Belgian Labour Prosecutor and the focus was on fight against social dumping. A newly established subgroup on tackling undeclared work among displaced persons/refugees from Ukraine met in Warsaw today.
