ELA is launching a call for papers to gather and share knowledge about relevant IT tools and solutions using AI/ML in support of the labour mobility.

The European Labour Authority presented awards to four exemplary Good Practices during the ELA conference in Bratislava on 20 June 2023. One of the Good Practice Awards in the field of road transport was presented to the Polish National Labour Inspectorate, for the good practice ‘Drivers’ working time and road traffic accidents’. 

The European Labour Authority presented awards to four exemplary Good Practices during the ELA conference in Bratislava on 20 June 2023. One of the Good Practice Awards in the field of seasonal work was presented to Arbeit und Leben DGB/VHS Berlin-Brandenburg, for the good practice ‘Transnational governmental and non-governmental cooperation to inform Moldovan seasonal workers in German agriculture’. Thanks to the project, around 400 seasonal workers from Moldova received support from National Employment Agency Moldova, IOM and Arbeit und Leben DGB/VHS Berlin-Brandenburg  during recruitment

The Romanian Labour Inspectorate marked the EU Week for Seasonal Workers (20-24 September) with a national campaign to raise awareness on employers’ obligations as well as on workers’ rights.

Over the past month, the Hellenic labour inspectorate has been raising awareness across Greece about seasonal workers’ rights with a focus on the hotel, restaurant, and catering (HORECA) sector.
