Workshop on Controls for Posting of Third Country Nationals (Posting 360)

Within the framework of the Posting 360 Programme, the European Labour Authority (ELA) in collaboration with the European Commission is organising the third workshop on the Posting of Third Country Nationals(TCNs). This provides an opportunity for national experts to discuss the relevant aspects such as checks and controls, to establish the genuine nature of the posting during the posting activity, in the country where the worker is posted.  

The aim of the workshop is to review and discuss inspection practices and control measures to assess the genuineness of posting situations when TCNs are involved, including the following elements:  

• Understanding control and inspection practices to enforce legislation related to the posting of TCNs in the receiving Member States; 
• Discuss practical issues that arise during inspections and controls, including cross-border cooperation needs, exchange of information, fundamental rights issues and overcoming language and cultural barriers;  

• Identify relevant aspects where mutual understanding between practitioners is needed.
