Understanding EU rules for light commercial vehicles (LCVs) in international transport of goods or cabotage applicable from 1 July 2026 - ELA live webinar session

On 9 December 2025, the European Labour Authority (ELA) hosts a live online webinar dedicated to upcoming application of the relevant EU legislation for light commercial vehicles (LCVs) engaged in international transport of goods or cabotage.

These changes, introduced under Mobility Package I, will apply from 1 July 2026.

The webinar aims to contribute to raise awareness among LCV drivers and operators about these new rules and provide practical guidance on compliance. The webinar offers additional clarification on who is affected by the rules, explain basic requirements for posting of drivers, and outline applicable driving and rest time rules. In addition, during the event, ELA’s ongoing information activities in the road transport sector are presented.
