Nordic and Baltic Labour Inspectorates’ Cooperation Workshop

The event was organised for labour inspectorates’ middle managers from the Nordic and Baltic countries, including Norway and Iceland.

The objective of the event was to increase awareness amongst the middle managers of the added value from cross border cooperation, both for their daily work but also for strategic purposes and the added value of ELA to their activities. 

There were 45 participants in total, including 2-6 participants from each of the Nordic and Baltic countries. The workshop was successful in raising awareness of ELA and cross border cooperation among the labour inspectorates’ middle managers and in giving them the opportunity to hear about each other’s experiences. It also gave an impetus to continue developing the Nordic-Baltic cooperation within the enforcement of labour mobility. The members of the steering group, the so called Hub, valued the possibility to get together in person and those participants who had not yet been involved in the Nordic-Baltic cooperation appreciated the new contacts made during the event.
