Local information event, Roadshow for HGV drivers in Belgium

The European Labour Authority (ELA) in cooperation with the Belgian National Authority - Sociale Inlichtingen-en Opsporingsdienst (SIOD) and social partners (unions) - BTB-ABVV and ACV-CSC intends to conduct a full day onsite informational event (Road Show) for truck drivers involved in international road transport and cabotage in Belgium. The primary aim is to inform international heavy goods vehicle (HGV) drivers about driving and rest times, as well as posting regulations under Mobility Package I. This provides drivers with an opportunity to acquire additional understanding about their rights and obligations.
