Description
ELA together with the European Commission, launches the IMI-PROVE mutual learning and understanding programme, which aims at strengthening cooperation and mutual assistance between Member States by fostering a stronger and more effective use of the Internal Market Information System (IMI) modules for posting of workers and road transport.
The programme focuses on four pillars of work, namely:
- Underused modules: what can be improved?
- Challenges related to the technical setup of IMI (vis-à-vis national practices).
- Predefined questions in the IMI-module on information requests.
- The use of the new modules for road transport vis-à-vis posting of workers modules.
Objectives of the programme are:
- Introduction of the Programme and its Pillars
- Meeting the national IMI-users network
- Deeper understanding of IMI-modules and their use
- Presentation of technical issues and other obstacles
