Description
The aim of this workshop organised by the European Platform tackling undeclared work is to engage in mutual learning and deepen the understanding of successful interinstitutional cooperation at the national level. The workshop specifically focuses on interinstitutional cooperation on operations (i.e. inspections, education, awareness raising campaigns and other support measures) and on data collection, sharing and analysis to tackle undeclared work.
The workshop covers key themes such as best practices, operational insights, challenges and innovative approaches. It showcases examples of cross-government cooperation, highlighting their outcomes, lessons learnt, and the main challenges faced by authorities. While the workshop primarily focuses on interinstitutional cooperation at the national level, a session will be dedicated to cross-border cooperation.
The event is open to Platform members and observers, and nominated colleagues from competent authorities, including labour inspectorates, tax authorities, and social security authorities, as well as social partners with relevant expertise in the topic. Representatives from labour inspectorates and tax authorities of the Western Balkans which are part of the Employment and Social Affairs Platform (ESAP) 3 project will also take part in the workshop.
