Finnish – French Exchange of Forestry Practices

The Finnish and French labour inspectorates met to exchange information on the practices and experiences regarding inspections in the forestry sector. The initiative for the meeting came from the Finnish labour inspectorate in Eastern Finland where they have encountered many posted workers working in reforestation and cleaning up certain areas in the forests. They are interested in learning how labour inspectorates elsewhere in Europe deal with foreign labour in the forestry sector.
