EMPACT analytical meeting

The European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats (EMPACT) is a key EU instrument for multidisciplinary cooperation against organised crime. Since 2022, within the EMPACT framework, an annual analytical meeting on labour exploitation is held for analysts. The Netherlands Labour Authority is action leader of EMPACT THB Labour Exploitation. The annual meeting is organised by the European Labour Authority (ELA), Europol, and the Netherlands Labour Authority, and aims to facilitate the exchange of practices and to promote partnerships between law enforcement organisations and labour inspectorates. More specifically, this meeting provides a platform to discuss and share modi operandi and analytical approaches to tackle labour exploitation and trafficking in human beings.
