ELA forum on the posting of workers (Posting 360)

The Forum on the Posting of Workers is co-organised with the European Commission and provides an opportunity to exchange information and practices on the implementation and enforcement of EU and national legislation on the posting of workers.

The Forum allows Member States’ experts to exchange their views with the Commission and ELA on the main policy and enforcements aspects relating to the posting of workers. This allows the experts to identify and discuss outstanding policy issues and how to address these.  

In the fourth meeting of the Forum participants have the possibility to:

• discuss ELA’s activities in relation to the Commission’s report on the implementation of the revised posting Directive; 
• receive input on other planned activities, such as new workstream on subcontracting and a handbook on posting of Third country nationals;
• give the Member States room to discuss policy issues in the area of posting among peers, the European Commission and ELA, and exchange best practices; 
• discuss with experts ELA’s activities in view of structuring these in the most useful manner for the national administrations.  

This Forum, part of ELA’s Posting 360 Programme, provides a comprehensive exercise to identify the most prominent challenges and instruments for action. These actions aim to ensure that EU posting rules are enforced and that posted workers are protected and good working conditions are ensured.   

The Forum gathers around 100 experts from Member States’ administrations related to labour law and social security law, as well as social partners.
