ELA delegation visit to Cyprus

The ELA Delegation travels to Nicosia to meet with the representatives of the Cyprus national authorities and social partners. 

The aim of the visit is to engage in discussions on national challenges and priorities for action in the area of labour mobility, while exchanging good practices and exploring cooperation opportunities on topics within the remit of ELA’s mandate.  

The main objectives of the visit are:

• Presentation of Cyprus competent authorities;
• Presentation of ELA’s mission, priorities, and activities for 2025 and beyond;
• Find out current national priorities and challenges, and exchange good practices in the field of labour mobility;
• Listen to the expectation of the Cyprus competent authorities and social partners, related to ELA, and discuss further possibilities of cooperation.

This visit is part of a set of tools ELA has put at the disposal of the National Liaison Officers (NLOs) and Member States (MSs) to strengthen cooperation between ELA and the national competent authorities.
