The main objective of the meeting was to improve bilateral cooperation concerning identified issues related to posting and social security coordination, in particular with regard to chain leasing and IMI cooperation.
The Slovenian Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities presented the recently adopted new Transnational Provision of Services Act which entered into force on 18 April 2021. Also included in the discussions was the provision of the Pension and Disability Insurance Act according to which the contributions for posted workers are calculated on the Slovenian salary and not on the higher salary in the state of work due to the provisions of the Posting directive has been deleted from the Act. (It will enter into force by 1 January 2024). Other issues included the use of QR codes on PDA1 in Slovenia as a good practice, analysis of specific cooperation challenges with regard to revocations of PDA1s/ways to improve future cooperation.
National workflows in Austria and Slovenia concerning the IMI system were presented and ways to improve future cooperation were also examined.
