Description

The Advanced course in EU Labour Mobility is a pilot initiative inscribed within the framework of the Launch of a recognised certification of competence – diploma in EU labour mobility, announced by the Authority in 2024.

The Italian edition of the course, the first of its kind, takes the form of a summer school, an intensive residential training programme organised in partnership with the University of Florence, from 14 to 18 July.

The Advanced course offers an in-depth exploration of the main regulatory and operational aspects related to labour mobility within the internal market. It seeks to establish a certified training programme delivering specialized knowledge and practical skills in EU labour mobility, focusing on national and EU laws related to posting, free movement of workers, cross border undeclared work, social security coordination, and road transport regulations.

Structured as a 40-hour course and fully funded by ELA, it focuses on EU and national legal contexts overarching the regulation of labour mobility, and will address legal principles, case law, and conceptual frameworks.
