EURES Slovenia and EURES Croatia to exchange good practices on seasonal work

Published date

During the EU Week for Seasonal Workers (20−24 September), EURES Slovenia and EURES Croatia will organise a cross-border conference to discuss the legal aspects of seasonal work in both countries and to exchange good practices. The event is part of the European Labour Authority’s campaign “Rights for all seasons”.

News

The cross-border conference will take place on 23 September in Šmarješke Toplice, Slovenia. The event will be attended by EURES staff members, managers at public employment services in cross-border regions, legal experts, the ELA National Liaison Officer for Slovenia, and representatives from the Slovenian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food.

With this cross-border conference, the two EURES teams aim to:

  • raise awareness on legal issues and practices in seasonal work;
  • be able to provide up-to-date and in-depth information to cross-border clients;
  • discuss future cooperation in seasonal work.

The event will be in English, and it will comply with all health and safety regulations. Those who cannot join the conference in person will be able to do so online.
