Description

Difficulties in recruiting workers is an issue that many companies and employers across Europe face on a daily basis. The European labour Authority together with Eurofound are organising a one morning hybrid event. The goal is to explore new findings and services available to tackle labour shortages and to showcase companies’ recruitment and retention solutions, including those arising from the digital and green economic transitions in the labour market.

The event brings together EU institutions, national governments, social partners, non-governmental organisations [PD1] and companies’ representatives to talk about their experiences and to exchange on good practices and solutions.

It is a unique chance for employers and interested public in shortages to engage with experts and companies on market practices to tackle labour shortages, and crucially, to explore how the EURES network can assist employers in addressing this problem.

The event is part of the ‘EU weeks of labour mobility’, organised in the context of the  '30 years of EURES: Fair Work Anywhere in Europe' campaign.
