ELA national event in Netherlands on posting of Third-Country Nationals

The ELA National event in the Netherlands is organised by the European Labour Authority (ELA), in close cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Labour Authority. The event focuses on third country nationals (TCNs) that are posted by a company established in one Member State to work in another Member State.

Objectives:

• Exchange enforcement practices between the participating experts from Belgium, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Lithuania, and The Netherlands;
• Give a boost to concrete follow up actions and future bilateral cooperation.

Outcomes:

The general outcome of the event is to contribute to improving the situation of TCNs by:

• Enhancing cooperation and exchange of knowledge between enforcement authorities in the field of labour law and social security law from the invited sending and hosting Member States;
• Creating further cooperation tools/platforms/structures – with the support of ELA.

Participants:

Experts of the relevant authorities of Member States that are dealing with the challenges relating to the posting of TCNs from an enforcement or policy making perspective – BE, DE, PL, PT, LT, NL. From the side of the NL, participants are mainly representatives of the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Netherlands Labour Authority and the Social Insurance Bank (SVB).
