Description

The Platform will launch its first information campaign in 2020. The activities will focus on raising awareness with companies and workers about the benefits of declared work. This campaign coordination seminar provided an important opportunity for Platform members and observers to acquire a clear understanding of the EU-wide social media campaign and how they can support and contribute. It also provided the opportunity to share specific ideas and plans for the Week of Action (16-20 March 2020).

The seminar was highly interactive and practical. The EU-wide social media campaign was introduced, and inspiring examples were shared on successfully using social media (EU and national level). A working session focused on the planning of social media activities at national level during the campaign, including guidance on how to choose the optimal social media channels to reach the desired target groups. The session included a social media post drafting exercise based on existing Platform materials and the ideas for the Week of Action.
