Plenary meeting of the European Platform tackling undeclared work

The meeting focuses on current and future roles, competencies of enforcement authorities relevant to tackling undeclared work. 

The aim of the meeting is:

• to provide the opportunity for participants, platform members and observers to share and deepen understanding of the human resource management issues confronting labour inspectorates and tax authorities as a whole; 
• to share and deepen understanding of the changing roles of staff within labour inspectorates and tax authorities and how to support capacity building, develop skills and competencies; 
• to identify the steps required to undergo this process of modernisation, along with the issues arising at each stage and how they might be overcome.

The main goal is to identify what is needed to develop modern labour inspectorates and tax authorities in terms of capacity building, skills and competencies.
