
ELA is launching its call for interest for the first half of 2026, inviting national authorities in the EU27 and EEA to take part in its information support activities.

8 concerted and joint inspections took place across the EU on 6 - 12 October, in Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Finland, Greece, Lithuania and Romania. The actions were carried out by labour inspectors as well as enforcement officers from customs, social security, tax, police and migration authorities. Visiting inspectors joined from Belgium, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, France, Italy, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.

The main focus of this coordinated action were working conditions in road transport and road safety. The inspections were supported by the European Labour Authority (ELA).
