Inter-institutional workshop

A workshop supported by ELA was organised for the relevant Slovakian national authorities to map the national procedures related to:

•  the issuing the work permits;
• issuing PDA1’s; 
• assessing the posting situation for workers in Slovakia;
• to discuss and exchange experiences of the application of European legislation in terms of the posting of Third Country Nationals (TCNs). 

The workshop also addressed how to best prepare for future multilateral exchanges with other Member States concerning future postings, including TCNs. 

There were 10 participants from Slovak national authorities present, including representatives from the Bureau of Border and Foreign Police, the Central Office of Labour, Social Affairs and Family, the National Labour Inspectorate and the Social Insurance Agency.
