“Light Vehicles. Big changes.” – Online information session on Light Commercial Vehicles

ELA hosts an online information session focused on raising awareness of the rules entering into force on 1 July 2026, which extend the application of road transport social legislation to Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs). The information session is part of a bigger event comprising a high-level conference which will take place in the morning. The aim is to improve understanding and compliance with the regulatory requirements and to complement the series of activities on Mobility Package I held by ELA together with the European Commission, in the past two years. 

The afternoon session will only be held online, through a live streaming accessible via ELA YouTube channel. This initiative represents an integral part of a series of actions dedicated directly to LCVs, that include the ELA campaign launched in November 2025, a webinar held in December 2025, and the online formation session held in April 2026. These initiatives will constitute the ground for the intermediate-level information session to be held in the afternoon of 30 June. The recording of the information session will be accessible afterwards via the ELA YouTube channel in various linguistic versions.

The online information session will mainly target LCV operators and drivers engaged in international carriage of goods or cabotage.  The livestream will run in English.
