Slovenia has designated two free movement bodies with complementary roles. One body focuses on protection against discrimination and equal treatment, while the other provides information and legal guidance on the exercise of free movement rights.
Advocate of the Principle of Equality (equal treatment and discrimination cases) - Zagovornik načela enakosti
Slovenian equality body responsible for protection against discrimination in the public and private sectors. The Advocate’s legal mandates cover all grounds and fields of discrimination, including equal treatment and support for EU workers in matters related to free movement and working conditions.
