Workshop on enforcing EU labour mobility rules in the aviation sector

The European Labour Authority (ELA) organised a workshop on enforcing EU labour mobility and social security rules in the aviation sector.

The event has two parts: official launch of the ELA report on enforcement of EU rules on labour mobility and social security coordination for aircrew members and exchanges on its key findings; planning of operational activities supported by ELA for 2026-2027in the aviation sector.

It includes discussion and operational planning meetings between ELA and national enforcement authorities about how to organise cross-border inspections in the aviation sector and offer opportunities to organise inspections jointly among the participating Member States in 2026-2027.

The workshop is supported by the German Customs and includes planning of future operational activities in the aviation sector in cooperation between Germany and other Member States.
