Modular training for cross-border inspectors

The modular training spans over 5 days and it covers a wide range of topics under the European Labour Authority (ELA) mandate. 

The first edition took place in December 2023, and it is now held twice per year in Bratislava, at ELA premises. It specifically targets cross-border inspectors from the EEA countries, with the purpose of providing them with an integrated knowledge toolkit on all the main aspects under the Authority’s remit, such as freedom of movement of workers, posting of workers, including special rules applicable in road transport, social security coordination, and concerted and joint inspections. It combines theoretical sessions with practical exercises, and it includes simulated inspections on specific topics. Almost all training sessions are held by ELA staff, with only one external expert.
