Strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation between ES, FR, IT and PT – Agreement between French and Italian Social Security Institutions to improve services and tackle fraud and error

The event takes place in Rome, Italy, on 15 and 16 May. On the first day, a detailed presentation of the agreement negotiated by INPS and France Travail is given, followed by a discussion among participant Member States sharing good practices in data exchange agreements to prevent fraud and errors in social security.

The second half-day is dedicated to breakout sessions where France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain meet other delegations to share their experiences in negotiating such agreements. Interested Member States explore the possibilities of starting negotiations for bilateral agreements and delve into implementation issues. National Delegations share their insights at the end of the session.
