Capacity building workshop for free movement bodies

The capacity building workshop for free movement bodies (FMB) is part of the European Labour Authority (ELA) ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation, capacity building and mutual learning of FMB designated by Member States to support the enforcement of the right to free movement and equal treatment of EU workers and their families.  

The two-day, highly interactive event focus on strengthening FMBs’ knowledge of labour mobility issues, facilitating peer learning, and preparing input for ELA’s 2026 campaign marking the 10th anniversary of FMBs. Through plenary sessions, group work, training blocks, and good practice showcases, the workshop provides a platform for exchange on legal challenges, sectoral trends, and practical solutions to better support mobile workers across the EU.
