Forum on the Posting of Workers

The eighth Forum on the Posting of Workers is part of ELA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between Member States and support the effective implementation and enforcement of EU rules on posting of workers.

Chaired by the European Commission and ELA, the forum brings together national authorities, experts and social partners to exchange information and good practices on labour and social security rules. It contributes to improving the protection and working conditions of posted workers and to the functioning of the EU Single Market.

As part of the forum, ELA launches the Handbook Tool, providing country-specific information on national legislation and practices concerning the posting of third-country nationals across all 27 EU Member States. The tool supports national authorities in enforcing EU rules and facilitates cooperation and information exchange between Member States.

The European Commission also presents the Fair Labour Mobility Package, highlighting ELA’s role in promoting fair labour mobility across the EU.
