This workshop aims to enhance cross-border cooperation within the EESSI/RINA area. The goal is to establish a cooperation model for the involved countries (Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Norway and Sweden), as well as establish good practices in this regard.
The main objective is to establish the foundations for a cooperation model on the social security coordination within the EESSI/RINA framework. The on-site meeting provides a forum for all participating parties to initiate structured work towards this cooperation model, thereby laying the groundwork for future practices and agreeing on a preliminary work plan for continued cooperation in with regards to EESSI/RINA.
Member States have faced increasing operational and security challenges related to the RINA solution. To ensure sustainable, secure and cost-efficient solutions, the participating countries aim to establish a cooperation model in line with the Interoperability Act, organised as horizontal public–public cooperation under Article 12 of the Public Procurement Directive (Directive 2014/24/EU), with joint responsibility for the development and maintenance of the code base and selected components.
