Labour Market Observatory visit to the European Labour Authority

This first visit of the Labour Market Observatory (LMO) of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) to the European Labour Authority (ELA) aims to provide members with a clear understanding of the Agency’s mandate, core tasks, governance, and work programme, while opening a structured exchange on key fair labour mobility issues.

The visit allows LMO members to gather practical insights from ELA’s operational experience, contribute to ongoing policy reflections, and identify areas for closer cooperation. Discussions focus on fair labour mobility, enforcement, and skills matching, in light of broader labour market transformations linked to digitalisation, the green transition, and demographic change.
