European Job Days: 15 years of connecting talent and opportunities across Europe

News

The European Labour Authority (ELA), through the EURES network, launched the 15 years of European Job Days (EJDs) campaign. This EURES service brings together jobseekers and employers, supporting access to job opportunities from across Europe.

Organised mostly online but very few onsite, these events facilitate transnational and cross-border recruitment by enabling direct interaction between jobseekers, employers and EURES Advisers. They also provide practical information on living and working conditions in different countries, and in some cases funding to support the relocation and integration of those looking to work abroad.

European Job Days contribute to EU efforts to promote fair labour mobility and improve matching between labour supply and demand, while strengthening cooperation between more than 300 EURES Members and Partners, which are national employment services as well as private placement organisations.

Besides the organisation of more than 30 events along the year, the campaign activities also include strong paid promotion in social media and traditional media, support to communication activities of EURES Members and Partners, networking activities and stakeholder engagement and influencer marketing, among others.

More information on upcoming European Job Days is available on the campaign landing page.
