UDW Study visit in Norway

The aim of this study visit is to enable Platform members and observers to explore the approaches and operational practices used by the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority for tackling undeclared work, social dumping, and work-related crime also providing a general overview of the national effort to address illegal labour market practices.

The study visit provides participants with an opportunity to learn more about the interagency cooperation (joint centres) in Norway, a practical cooperation between the labour inspectorate, the social welfare administration, the tax administration, and the police.

Presented and discussed topics are legislation for sharing of information, how the cooperation is organized and practically performed, analytical work and Norway’s government approach to tackling problems in the labour market.
