EUAN Assembly of the Heads of Agencies and plenaries

The European Labour Authority will welcome the Heads of Agencies and Joint Undertakings to Bratislava on 15 October 2026 for the Assembly of the Heads of Agencies, the main decision-making body of the European Union Agencies Network (EUAN).  

Chaired by ELA Executive Director, Mr Cosmin Boiangiu, the Assembly will provide a high-level forum to discuss how EU Agencies can contribute more effectively to the implementation of the EU agenda and respond collectively to a changing political, technological and institutional framework.  

Particular attention will be given to the future strategic direction of the Network. The Heads of Agencies will hold an initial discussion on the EUAN Multiannual Strategy for the period 2028-2034, drawing on the results of a Network-wide consultation and considering future priorities. The key institutional partners of EU agencies – European Parliament, Council and the Commission will provide their input into the strategic discussion. 

The Assembly will conclude a week of EUAN plenary meetings hosted by ELA from 12 to 15 October in which the Heads of Finance, the Heads of Human Resources and the Heads of Resources of EU Agencies and Joint Undertakings will exchange experience and good practices on financial management, workforce matters, resource planning, shared services and other issues of common interest.
