Description

The training for social partners brings together around forty representatives of social partners from across the EU, including both trade unions and employers’ associations. Its purpose is to equip participants with essential skills, knowledge and general information related to social security coordination.

This initiative forms part of ELA’s multiannual Capacity Building Strategy, which recognises the pivotal role of social partners as key stakeholders of the Authority. Through this strategy, ELA aims to strengthen its position as a dedicated forum for exchanging knowledge and experience in the field of labour mobility. Annual training sessions for national social partners are one of the concrete ways in which this objective is being pursued.

The 2026 training focuses on providing a basic-level introduction to social security coordination. The choice of topic reflects careful consideration and consultations with representatives of social partners to ensure relevance and added value for participants.
