ERINA workshop – ERINA international cooperation – Denmark, France, Iceland, Norway, Finland and Sweden

The workshop is organised as a follow-up to the cooperation workshop on the EESSI system held on 4-5 March 2026 in Bratislava, during which the participating countries (Denmark, France, Iceland, Norway, Finland, and Sweden) established a cooperation model for the development, operation and maintenance of EESSI/ERINA.

In line with the conclusions reached in March, discussions will focus on migration, testing, deployment and shared tools, while also progressing work on outstanding issues, including invoicing arrangements, annual meeting planning and the detailed cooperation processes required for the effective long-term operation and maintenance of EESSI/ERINA.

The ERINA Joint Governance and Operation Agreement was finalised following the March meeting. Finland and Denmark signed the agreement in August 2026, while the signature process is ongoing for the remaining partners. The first online Steering Committee meeting, scheduled for October 2026, will mark the start of the Swedish Presidency under the agreement's six-month rotating presidency system.
