Authorities can apply for a website review, tailor-made support, or a combination of both. The aim remains the same: helping national administrations offer clear, accessible and reliable information on labour mobility.
National authorities wishing to take part are invited to submit their expression of interest via EU Survey by 20 December 2025. ELA will contact applicants after registration to outline the next steps.
Website reviews: improving clarity and accessibility
ELA will continue its established review service for national websites covering free movement of workers, posting of workers, social security coordination and the social aspects of international road transport.
A wide range of websites can be submitted, including national EURES websites, free movement bodies’ websites, single national websites on posting of workers, social security portals, labour inspectorates’ sites, and similar.
Each review looks at the essentials that matter to users, for example:
- whether information is clear, complete and up to date
- legal compliance where required
- accessibility and availability in other languages
- ease of navigation and overall user experience
- website design and use of digital tools
- effectiveness of the site’s search function
Where useful, ELA can follow up with dedicated workshops. Authorities that have already received a review in previous years may apply again, whether for a different website or for one that has been updated.
Tailor-made support: responding to national needs
In addition to website reviews, ELA will offer a set of customised support activities in 2026. These are designed to help national administrations strengthen their communication channels, both online and offline.
Depending on identified needs, the offered support may include:
- an initial assessment of existing information and channels
- workshops on usability, structure, SEO and accessibility
- guidance on adapting or developing content and materials
- advice on planning communication activities and reaching priority audiences
- support in setting up new channels such as helpdesks or social media accounts
- assistance with campaign messages and promotional tools
- evaluation and improvement of current communication approaches
- development of visual tools, such as infographics for specific target groups
Applicants are encouraged to state their particular needs. If the assessment is positive, ELA will propose a tailored support plan.
