Description
On 9 September 2025, the Danish Trade Union Confederation and the Confederation of Danish Employers visit the European Labour Authority (ELA) to explore opportunities for cooperation. This meeting marks an important step toward strengthening collaboration between ELA and national social partners.
In Denmark, social partners play a central role in shaping a fair and well-functioning labour market. Through collective agreements and mutual dialogue, they typically resolve labour issues independently, without state intervention. Their model of cooperation serves as a strong example of how social dialogue can contribute to stability and fairness in employment relations.
The main objective of the meeting is to provide Danish social partners with a deeper understanding of ELA’s services, offers, and opportunities available to their members. In turn, ELA aims to gain insight into the structure and functioning of social partnership in Denmark, particularly how collective agreements are negotiated, how conflicts are resolved, and how social partners operate within the labour market.
