Description
The conference brings together EU and national stakeholders to explore how fair contracts, improved cross-border cooperation, and fair recruitment practices can mitigate risks of exploitation and undeclared work. It highlights the specific situation of Malta as a receiving country for LTC workers and examine how mobility, when properly supported, can be a safe and sustainable solution to national care needs.
The event takes place over one day and features plenary discussions, targeted panel sessions, and opportunities for stakeholder networking. Expected participants include representatives from EU institutions, Maltese ministries and inspectorates, public and private LTC providers, employer associations, trade unions, civil society organisations and NGOs supporting migrant workers.
