Head of Unit – Labour Mobility

The Authority is launching a vacancy notice with the aim of establishing a reserve list of Temporary Agents for the position of Head of Unit. ELA intends to fill up to 4 positions of Head of Unit via the present call, to coordinate operational tasks of the Authority. The successful candidates may hence be offered a job in one of the Units of the European Labour Mobility, responsible for one or more of the following tasks:

• Facilitating access to information and coordinating the EURES platform;
• Facilitating the cooperation and the exchange of information between Member States;
• Coordinating and supporting concerted and joint inspections;
• Carrying out analyses and risk assessment on issues of cross-border labour mobility;
• Supporting Member States with capacity building;
• Supporting Member States in tackling undeclared work;
• Mediating disputes between Member States on the application of relevant Union law.
