On 16 March 2021, the European Platform tackling undeclared work organised an online Platform seminar which discussed tackling undeclared work among seasonal workers, with a specific focus on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event brought together 52 participants from 23 countries, representing labour inspectorates and other enforcement authorities, ministries of labour, as well as European and national level social partners, representatives from Eurofound, the European Agency for Occupational Safety and Health (EU OSHA), the European Commission and the European Labour Authority (ELA).

Participants reflected on developments, trends and policy approaches in relation to tackling undeclared work among seasonal workers; and discussed methods and tools for the prevention and deterrence of undeclared work among seasonal workers.
