
The EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) and the European Labour Authority (ELA) have jointly launched a new practical guide to help workplace inspectors to identify and address labour exploitation. The guide will also help workers to claim and enjoy their rights across the European Union.

The European Labour Authority (ELA) has taken a step forward in enhancing cooperation across the EU by hosting a landmark session of its IMI-PROVE Programme. For the first time, National IMI Coordinators (NIMICs), IMI users and social security institutions came together to explore better use of the Internal Market Information (IMI) system for posting of workers and social legislation in road transport.

It provides online courses in the areas of EU labour mobility & social security coordination

Training focus was on roadside inspections, particularly on driving time, breaks and rest periods as well as on posting of drivers. Five sessions were held across Europe in 2024.

"Zelfinspectie.nl: checklists for employers" awarded as exemplary practice. The recognition was presented during the ELA Annual conference 2024.

The European Labour Authority awarded the Institute of Social Security of Portugal for their exemplary practice ‘Determination of Legislation Applicable Application for the Posting of Workers’ in preventing social security fraud. The recognition was presented during the ELA Conference held in Brussels, on 27 June 2024.
