The European Labour Authority (ELA) has taken a step forward in enhancing cooperation across the EU by hosting a landmark session of its IMI-PROVE Programme. For the first time, National IMI Coordinators (NIMICs), IMI users and social security institutions came together to explore better use of the Internal Market Information (IMI) system for posting of workers and social legislation in road transport.
This was an online session for national authorities - users of posting of workers and road transport modules where features and functionalities of IMI and its modules were demonstrated.

This week, ELA, together with the European Commission, launched the IMI-PROVE programme under ELA’s Mutual Learning and Understanding Framework. The aim of the programme is to improve the use of the IMI System modules for posting of workers and road transport.
