The European Labour Authority (ELA) published a booklet summarising its work in the construction sector for 2023-2024, carried out with the support and cooperation of Member States and social partners.

ELA supported cross-border inspections of 50 companies in hotel, restaurant and catering (HORECA) sector in June. More than 400 workers were interviewed.

Several companies and dozens of posted workers were inspected by enforcement officers of the Labour and Social Security Inspectorates northwest Spain.

Nearly 300 buses inspected over two days. Many serious irregularities were found.

334 potential victims and 160 perpetrators identified during EMPACT Joint Action Days conducted by 31 countries across Europe.
