[Registrations ](https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/ELAAnnualConference2023onlineregistration)are now open to attend online the [**ELA Annual Conference 2023** “What future for labour mobility? Trends and a way forward”](https://www.ela.europa.eu/en/ela-annual-conference-2023).

The conference will provide the forum to discuss the **future outlook for labour mobility** being transformed by recent developments and **main trends shaping the world of work**, including twin transition and ageing of population. Discussion will also focus on the **future of labour mobility rules** and possible need for its revision in light recent experience and future trends. The conference will be also focused on **growing labour shortages in the EU** and the ways how to address them while fully using the potential of labour mobility.

The **representatives from EU institutions** and **social partners** will share their views on the challenges and opportunities lying ahead of the labour mobility; measures to further facilitate it and tapping the potential of labour mobility, including third country nationals, to compensate imbalances at EU labour markets.

Following the [call for good practices](https://www.ela.europa.eu/en/call-good-practices-2022) organized by ELA last year, the **award ceremony** to recognise the exemplary practices from the various fields of the labour mobility, such as **seasonal work**, **road transpor**t will take place during the conference.
