Ahead of the Council meeting on Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumers on 13 June 2019 in which Ministers formally [adopted the Regulation](http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_STATEMENT-19-2968_en.htm) establishing the European Labour Authority, EU Member States also decided to select [Bratislava](https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/press/press-releases/2019/06/13/bratislava-to-host-the-european-labour-authority/) as the seat of the ELA. In the start-up phase, the Commission will host the ELA in its premises in Brussels, until Slovakia will be ready to welcome ELA in Bratislava.
