## Description

This workshop is co-organised by the Social Investigation and Information Service Belgium (SIIS), the International Labour Organization (ILO), Benelux and the European Labour Authority (ELA).

It supports cooperation between Member States in the area of social security coordination and contributes to wider European discussions on modern, data-driven approaches to combat labour fraud and undeclared work. The workshop also brings together strategic decision-makers and specialised experts to exchange experiences on data-driven labour inspections, advanced risk analysis and artificial intelligence.

The initiative complements the ELA’s programme on risk assessment and fraud detection using machine learning and artificial intelligence. It follows the workshop held in Munich on 26–27 June 2025 and feeds into the follow-up workshop in Athens on 28–29 January 2027, connecting high-level strategic exchanges with ELA’s technical work on practical applications of these technologies.
