Date Tuesday 9 December 2025, 10.00-11.30 (CET) Location Online Organiser European Labour Authority ## Description On 9 December 2025, the European Labour Authority (ELA) hosts a live online webinar dedicated to upcoming application of the relevant EU legislation for light commercial vehicles (LCVs) engaged in international transport of goods or [cabotage](/en/glossary/cabotage "national carriage of goods for hire or reward carried out on a temporary basis in a host Member State by a vehicle registered in another Member State or when the employer is not established in the Member State where domestic transport operations are carried out"). These changes, introduced under Mobility Package I, will apply from 1 July 2026. The webinar aims to contribute to raise awareness among LCV drivers and operators about these new rules and provide practical guidance on [compliance](/en/glossary/compliance "The act of obeying an order, rule, regulation or request. Compliance with a law means doing what is required to operate in the declared economy."). The webinar offers additional clarification on who is affected by the rules, explain basic requirements for posting of drivers, and outline applicable driving and rest time rules. In addition, during the event, ELA’s ongoing information activities in the road transport sector are presented.
