## Description

The event is organized in the context of the EMPACT network (European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats) by the European Labour Authority (ELA), the Netherlands Labour Authority and Europol, and aims to facilitate exchanges on practices between law enforcement organisations and labour inspectorates and promoting partnerships between national competent authorities with the objective to tackle trafficking in human beings (THB) for labour exploitation.

The meeting brings together law enforcement authorities and labour inspectorates from the EU Member States, specifically the strategic analysts and/or researchers at the working level, to discuss different criminal phenomena of labour exploitation, ranging from their identification, enforcement and follow-up. The event will include various national presentations on modi operandi and analytical approaches towards tackling trafficking in human beings (THB) for labour exploitation and active discussions during the workshop. <a>The aim of this meeting is to facilitate exchanges on practices and national experiences between law enforcement authorities and labour inspectorates, with a view to ultimately facilitating cross-border cooperation among the national competent authorities</a>.
