The European Labour Authority (ELA) has taken a step forward in enhancing cooperation across the EU by hosting a landmark session of its IMI-PROVE Programme. For the first time, National IMI Coordinators (NIMICs), IMI users and social security institutions came together to explore better use of the Internal Market Information (IMI) system for posting of workers and social legislation in road transport.

The European Labour Authority supported a targeted cross-border joint inspection of road passenger transport on April 13, 2023, organised by the Slovenian supervisory authorities together with the German and Croatian enforcement authorities.

Italian, Romanian, Slovak and Belgian enforcement authorities cooperated in a concerted inspection on 3 December 2021 that focused on transport companies with branches in all four Member States. The results will be exchanged between the participating Member States to establish whether possible violations of posting rules, working and employment conditions, health and safety or establishment rules occurred.
